Rietfontein, home to Sam and Patty van Zyl and their 4 daughters is set in the valley of the Bounepartes district. Roses inhabit almost every nook of this colourful garden and foxgloves and agapanthus flourish beneath large gum and other trees. A beautiful dam adds to the tranquility of the place, and a well stocked rose nursery makes inspiration reality for those visiting.

Light lunches and teas will be served over the weekend. Breakfast is available on Sunday morning. Either pick up yours before heading off to the service at St Andrews or come back for a lazy brunch.

Patty has a rose nursery with well over 1000 roses of all varieties, which will be on sale.

Once again Bob Mc Kenzie “SA ARTIST” in original oils will be exhibiting his paintings and demonstrating the art of oil painting while he is here on Friday and Saturday morning. Bob has had one of his paintings selected by the DAVID SHEPARD FOUNDATION for an international exhibition in London.
