St Andrew’s Church is situated on Mpatoane Farm and is of special significance to both town and farming families. Steeped in history, this church offers a wonderful meeting place for folk to worship and fellowship and is a church which embraces everyone, whatever denomination. Come and hear the history during the service of songs of praise on Sunday, 28th October at 8H30am. The service will be accompanied by Jacques Heyn’s masterful skills on the 120 year old church organ. Coffee, tea, muffins, scones and rusks will be served after the service in this rural, rustic setting.
Directions: Take the Matatiele road (R56) from Kokstad for 8kms. Turn left on to the D606 at the top of the hill and travel 7,5kms on the gravel. The church is on your left.
On Sunday at 11H00, Glenn Scott will hold and interdenominational service in the garden and the Kokstad College chamber choir will once again perform at the service. Ikamva
